Character Summary[]
Dan as he appears in the Yearbook.
Dan is a small jock and has bright red hair and chocolate brown eyes. He wears a blue letterman sweater, along with brown slacks and blue Jordan 5's. In the winter, he adds black fingerless gloves. His face tends to contort when he is angry and is known for having a relatively deep, strong voice. Because of this, he is thought to be slightly older than most students, and just be short for his age.
Dan was formerly a nerd, like his younger brother Thad Carlson. He claims to have been bullied a lot. Despite this, he enjoys harassing the nerds more than his fellow teammates do, and his favorite victim is Earnest. On occasion, Dan can be heard hinting that he misses being a nerd, even though he claims football is his life.
According to the nerds, Dan only recently became a jock. He often speaks of interceptions and tackling, so he is most likely either cornerback or safety on the football team. Dan's team number is 1.
